Laser Revive

We are collaborating with ministry of youth and sports affairs in Bahrain to set a FabLab at their Innovation Center.

The Trotec Speedy 100R has been in the center for more than a year now, last time it was used probably six months back.  We started testing the laser machine as part of our task to set up the space. Using a simple file, to test Cutting and Engraving.

We tried with the Demo files that come with the software, but again no cutting or engraving took place.

The following day we called the regional approved dealer for online trouble shooting, through a shared desktop, his attempts also failed. Nothing seems to be wrong from the software side. The dealer also walked us through testing the pulse while occluding the mirror #3.

According to user manual:

This didn’t seem to be working also, we did the rest of pulse testing while occluding other mirrors (#1 & #2)on our own.

We checked also the LED indicators that light up after starting the Machine and connecting the USB to the computer.
